Metal Team Riders Jimmy, Pat, and Austin McCabe were able to attend "The Birth of Big Air" Mat Hoffman's documentary showing. The shin dig Condor shred boner fest went down in Portland at Nemo Design. Yeah babe! Sooooo sick! What a great movie and what a great crowd. The event could have used a cavebabe or two but whatev. If you haven't seen the flick yet, do so now. The movie has some of the most inspirational footage ever documented in action sports. Get inspired and get rad. Long live the Condor!!!

One of Austin's 500 ditches.

Big thanks to Forrest Berkey who let me stay at his place,
took all of these photos, and drove me around. This is my

first visit to the Longhorn state and it has been an eye opener.

It feels a lot like Seattle or Portland but without the hills.

I think someone who rode bikes was on the cities design

committee because everything down here is built to shred.

We would pass 20 amazing setups on the way to the store.

(20 might be an understatement) I also got to attend two video

premiers. First, Fully Cocked at Shakespeare's pub/bar, a

local Austin Video with Forrest Berkey, Chris Kowaleski,

Jesse Hilliard, Cody Smiglewski, Jon Chayse, Gresarette,

Reed Stark, Seth Peterson, Clint Zabodyn, Devon Lampman,

Evan Paul, Mark Kusick, and Kyle Stark a different style

video with a mix of all these guys shredding together. I am

pretty sure Clint is responsible for most of the filming, and

all of the editing. Great video you can find it at Goods in Portland.

Second, Anthem 2 at T-1, this video rocks and rolls. Even better

than that is all of the guys in the video are cool dudes outside

of riding. Burns has the closing section in this and it fucking rules!

Another shout out to the Eastide locals Mark, D, and Hunter,

thanks for letting me ride the trails. One of the highlights for sure.

Out of Town

Jimmy, Austin, Travis, and Nick took a trip to B.C. to

take part in the cities festivities. City trails, smooth

flowing skateparks, everything in walking distance,

babes left and right, it couldn't have been better.

Cam was a huge help in making this trip possible,

along with putting up 4 dudes in his place, (which

is in a prime area of the city) being the guide, and

taking these photos we couldn't have had it turn

out better. Thanks for the rad spots and good times

had. People like Cam make BMX what it is, no bad

vibes, Just a rad dude who let us roach his place.
